Designed, implemented, and maintained a modern, intuitive, flexible, and reliable point-of-sale (POS)
system. The POS's and both servers server run on Ubuntu Linux. The POS software and cross-platform
POS menu management application were programmed in C# and used the GTK graphics library.
The data is stored locally on the individual POS's MySQL database for maximum reliability. The data would
then propogate to MySQL databases on both servers. Long-term reports are generated through a PHP web
interface. Daily reports can be printed on receipts at any POS. The system has been running stable without
a problem for about five years.

Installed and maintained a 16-camera DVD-quality digital surveillance system. The system uses Geovision
DVR cards with hardware video encoding for improved efficiency and reliability.

Designed, implemented, and maintained an identification tracking system used by the security staff. The
system was programmed in C#, and stored data in a MySQL database. It runs on Linux and utilizes a
camera and a 2-dimensional barcode scanner to record the identification of everyone entering the bar.

Developed an intuitive data entry program to simplify the application process for applicants and employees.
The program uses the information entered by the applicant to screen for requirements, then populate and
print several existing application forms. The application was programmed in C#, and completed PDF forms
based on user input. It was developed using Microsoft Visual Studio.
